Actually it isn't till Wednesday, the 3rd, but didn't want to miss it with all that's going on this week! My dad said today, "48 years, where does the time go?" Well daddy, and mom, the time goes by when you work then have 2 of the GREATEST kids in the world...greatest at making you climb the walls among other things : ) Helping maw maw Scroggs and helping her raise other children all the while taking care of your own. Gaining strength through the bad times and enjoying the good. Always allowing us great holidays, fun summers at the beach (Destin), and building a house by what would be known as "miracle creek"! You both always took the time to care for others and have such compassion for them. Still filling your home with family on Thanksgiving, making the same "Elvis singing, Christmas tree putting up time" for the generations down the line. How did this redneck and coonie ever survive ? Their love for God & each other.
I pray for you many more years to come...and happy ones! Oh, if you get where you can't remember, I'll remind you how happy you are and how you had/have the 2 GREATEST CHILDREN...well, speaking for myself that is : )
