SCHOOL YEAR 2009-2010

I can't believe we have a SENIOR this year!

JoBea is excited , or at least I'm thinking she is. As always with her, she keeps her school stuff to herself. She did tell me she was taking college english and most likely the only reason she told me that is because she NEEDED the money to pay for it. She's also working after school at the snowball stand in Meadville. It was so hard for her to ask, but finally did when I told her I couldn't pay her any more to clean the house so she would have to find something else. Needing money made it a little easier to finally open up enough to ask for a job. I was glad she got it because it will help her open up for the next thing that comes along....maybe.

Each year Madge has a friend...this year was Sarah... spend the night before the first day of school. They stay up talking, checking out clothes...even tho it is uniforms. Lots of time is spent doing each others hair and make-up to see how they MIGHT wear it for the first day. It's an enjoyable way to calm the nerves for the first day back...especially your first day of HIGH SCHOOL! Yes, Madge is in High School.

They were so excited, these 2 went to bed around midnight and were up at 4:30 getting ready! Of course pictures come before going to school each year, and this year was no different. JoBea wasn't as excited about it but we got it done.

Trinity thought we all came out to play with her. She ran got her tug of war toy and teased Madge as we took pictures. After the photo ops, Madge took some time to play before riding off to school.

I pray for all the students and staff in our school system. Prayer also goes out to all the parents, that they will be more in tune to their child's education. Let's also remember to pray for the many students that leave school, arriving to an empty house. Lord we just turn each of them over to you. We may not know who they are but we can rest assured that YOU do!
