Amber came over last evening to share Christmas with Madge. First things first..they built a gingerbread train. As they began to take the ingredients from the boxAmber realized the candy canes were broken. There's nothing worse than a broken candy cane!
The directions were readMadge tried her hardest to get the gingerbread open. Before starting the project they had to try out the candy to make sure it was ok to use :)
Off they went
assembling the train.
When done, it was clean up time. They were proud of their gingerbread trainbut also stated building a train wasn't as fun as the house. Even still, they enjoyed spending time together doing it.
PRESENT TIME! When I asked if they were ready to exchange they almost ran me over to the living room. Amber first had Madge open 1 of the gifts she had given herwhich happened to be a poster of one of her favorite singers. Then Amber opened her first one from Madge.Yes, you are seeing correct. Amber wanted the playDoh burger builder! When JoBea saw this she said, "Aw, I want some play Doh." If only I had known this earlier! See folks, they DO still enjoy the little things.
Madge opened her second gift from Amber and oh my goodness, I thought Madge would stroke out.

A collection of her MAIN MAN! She says it is her husband from another time :) She LOVES her Elvis!! There was a door knob hanger, guitar candle and etc.
Now on to Amber's second gift from Madge. Don't know if you can see the excitement in her face

but maybe you can see it if you look hard : ) She had been wanting a new wallet for a while and Madge had picked the perfect one.
Amber & Adiel gave JoBea a Marilyn Monroe puzzle that brought a BIG smile to Jo Bea's face. She was very surprised.
These 3 are still enjoying time together after all these years

and I pray they will continue for many years to come.
For them, and myself, another perfect Christmas time together.
After sharing their time, JoBea surprised us with a gift from her trip to New Orleans a week ago.

They were so cute! She did a good job picking out each one for us.

Lord, these 3 girls adore you and love you with all their heart. Please watch over them and continue to lead, guide and direct them in the way YOU would have them go. Amen

Have a SHARING Christ day!

God bless....
