Sunday Madge, Amber, my nephew Clark & myself attended Church in Natchez with JoBea. She has gotten involved with the Church band...not playing anything, she sings with 2 women and a young man. Other youth, adults, play drums, guitar & piano. It was so amazing to see her on stage with a microphone and singing. They lead the special music which is 3 or 4 songs. JoBea is on the left.

As you can see, the lady in green keeps the beat, clapping and letting the music bring praise to God. She also helps with the singing. JoBea's friend Caleb plays the drums, another friend, Seth, is on her right (can't see him) singing. She was sitting with us and when it came time to go lead us in musical worship, she shucked those heels and proceeded up on stage barefoot! I am enjoying seeing her spiritual growth lately and am so glad she is finding God to be a major part of her life.

Saturday a group of young folks from their Church, JoBea holding icee cup, enjoyed a day at Celebration station in Baton Rouge. It was to celebrate the youth with January birthdays. Can you believe JoBea will be 17 Thursday?! Ok, I don't want to think about that so let's move on. They played lots of games, drove little race cars,

some tried their hand in the batting cage,

and most of them took their lives in their hands climbing the rock wall. For JoBea and her friend April, it was more of a challenge

but for Christina, she gained a whole new nickname..SPIDER MONKEY!

They said before her feet touched the wall good, she was scaling it like a monkey at full speed. To hear them all talking, they had a wonderful time together. Thanks Christina for the use of your pics. from Church and play time : )
