Friday, the 16....early morning, JoBea and Brandi rode to Brookhaven with Brandi's parents to see the first grandchild..on both sides.... and Brandi's little nephew be born. They have been excited since day one of learning he would join us in the world. The girls thought this day would never get here and when it did, they learned it's a day of waiting....so they napped in the waiting lobby or on the cot. Sometime after 2 in the afternoon, Scott made his appearance .... friends and family went wild with excitement. JoBea said there were more than plenty to welcome him.

On that Sunday morning, Scott and his mom were released to go home...and mom was more than ready. Brandi was ready for him to get home also so she could be more of a "hands on" kind of Aunt.

6 lbs. 1 oz....a fine healthy baby. As you can tell by Scott's sleepy face he is very trusting and comfortable with his Aunt...and by the smile on Brandi's face she LOVES this cutie of a nephew. My prayer is for JoBea and Brandi to see that they ARE role models for the younger generation so to be careful in ALL that they do....what they say and how they behave. Brandi's little Scott...JoBea's sister Madge....will ALWAYS look up to them...even if it doesn't seem so. Lord THANK YOU for yet another precious little soul. Help us to ALL live more like you so we can pass down YOUR character to the younger generation.
