JANUARY 21, 2007....A celebration indeed! Today, Madge, before her family and Church Family, made a public profession of her love for Christ, gave herself to Him and was baptized! Her Family, friends and Church Family stood with her at the Altar as she pledged herself to Christ and humbly knelt before Him. I could see in her face how serious she was in making her commitment. When she stood after the water was placed upon her head, she was all aglow with a happy smile. She turned to me and hugged me tightly. Madge had been talking about this for a long time now...a few years...so it was a very proud moment for me to see this come to pass for her. There's nothing more moving than someone coming to Christ in baptism.
If you have not accepted Christ as YOUR personal Lord and savior, I ask that you truly, sincerely look into the void you have in your heart...the one that cannot be filled with anything else. Believe me, I have tried it all and nothing, NOT A THING can fill the emptiness that comes from not having the Heavenly Father working, leading and guiding you in life. There are temporary fixes, but it's just that...TEMPORARY. If you want that permanent fix...Jesus Christ IS the answer.

I pray Madge will continue to allow Christ to work in her life and she will continue to have a great desire to grow in the Lord each day.

Peter replied, " Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for ALL who are far off..for all whom the Lord our God will call." Acts 2:38-39
